“Our business has grown very strongly in this period. People are moving away from beer, and wine is stagnating to a large extent, and the younger generation are really focusing their time and attention on premium spirits, and we are absolutely lock-step with that trend there.
“For me, the US performance has really been the stand-out performance for us this last year.”
Warrilow said the company is not seeing a major Brexit impact post-transition period ending on January 1 due to his team putting “an enormous amount of effort” into getting measures into place ahead of the trade deal being announced.
