During the period, new projects included the creation of DB Eyewear, in partnership with Safilo.
Sales at David Beckham Ventures improved to £16.2 million from £15.6 million, and it recorded pre-tax profits of £11.3 million, compared to £14.8 million.
The profits decline was due to charitable donations made to, UNICEF, currency headwinds, and increasing staff numbers.
At the Victoria fashion label, which was launched in 2008 by the former Spice Girl and is owned by Beckham Brand Holdings Limited, XIX Entertainment, and private equity firm NEO investment Partners, revenues rose 7% to £38.3 million.
The company was boosted by a new beauty brand, and sales growth online, in the wholesale arm, and at the Dover Street flagship in Mayfair.
But it recorded a pre-tax loss of £16.6 million compared to a £12.5 million loss in the prior 12 months. That was largely due to the pre-launch costs of the beauty business.
Stripping out one off costs, losses in the core fashion business reduced to £4.6 million from a £10.5 million loss. That was as a result of factors such as continued revenue growth and tighter cost control.
