Bwin.party also received a small €10 million (£7.3 million) windfall from its interest in Visa’s €21.1 billion deal to buy Visa Europe, through its Kalixa payments arm.
Panmure Gordon analyst Karl Burns said the update “gives some confidence the business is starting to stabilise after years of decline”.
Bwin.party said in a statement that the Euro Championship in 2016 and cost savings mean it has strong prospects for the coming year.
