But 6% have seen their relationship ended during an in-car conversation, the survey of 1,000 drivers showed. Many motorists are happy to talk about their love life while on journeys, with 45% of those polled saying that the lack of eye contact made such conversations easier. Conversations most likely to cause tension in the car include holidays, bills and living arrangements.
