Get a pen and paper and create a swot list. List all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats your bakery business would face if you were to supply the chain you’ve been approached by.
An obvious strength would be the extra cash it could bring in, a weakness may be increased staffing costs. An opportunity could be further expansion and a threat may be the quality-control issue you mention.
Although it may not feel like it now, you are in a really strong position. Do your homework and remember — where there’s a whisk there’s a way.
