A must for style-obsessed travellers

Lush - that's what the new travel magazine from Quintessentially is. This new glossy (actually, it's too cool to be shiny - should that be matt-y?) is to be published quarterly by Quintessentially, the online concierge service for busy professionals which launched in 2000.

The first issue is clearly aimed at the style-obsessed traveller and claims to be a contemporary take on the good life. It's a luxurious combination of fashion, social and travel.

The travel pages are delicious, ducking the modern obsession for information-cramming and allowing the pictures to speak for themselves. And they do - Dubai and Tibet make the first issue, with fabulous colour photography and not a hackneyed image in sight.

Add in slick, coffee-table format, Lucia van der Post as editor-in-chief, and minimal outlets and you have a cool combo. As long as it doesn't get too precious.
